How to plan your VU timetable

Smoov's Allocate+ import currently supports UTS, USYD and ANU. Enter your VU classes manually - broader support is coming soon.

Open Allocate+ (MyTimetable) and note the class times for each of your subjects.
Add each subject in Smoov with its lecture, tutorial and lab times.
Block out your shifts and hard nos, then pick what matters: no 8ams, fewer days on campus, a proper lunch break.
Smoov checks every combination and shows you the best few options, with what each one costs you.
Pick one and register those classes in Allocate+ (MyTimetable).

VU's Block Model is fundamentally different from every other Australian university - you study one subject at a time for 4 weeks, with classes typically 3 days per week for 3 hours.
Because you complete all assessments within each 4-week block, there are no traditional exam periods - results are released shortly after each block ends.
VU's Allocate+ system (branded as MyTimetable) is used to register for class groups within your current block - even though you only study one subject, some blocks have multiple class group options; register early as group sizes are small.
