How to plan your UOW timetable
Enter your classes from SOLS into Smoov - just add your subject codes and class times.
- Open SOLS and note the class times for each of your subjects.
- Add each subject in Smoov with its lecture, tutorial and lab times.
- Block out your shifts and hard nos, then pick what matters: no 8ams, fewer days on campus, a proper lunch break.
- Smoov checks every combination and shows you the best few options, with what each one costs you.
- Pick one and register those classes in SOLS.
What Smoov does for UOW students

- Works to what you care about: fewer days on campus, no 8ams, a proper lunch break
- Shows 2 to 4 options side by side, with what each one costs you
- Sends your timetable to Google Calendar or any calendar app
- Runs in your browser, so your timetable stays on your device
Timetable tips for UOW students
- Tutorial enrolment in SOLS opens 2-5 weeks before the session starts with exact dates set by faculty, not university-wide - check the tutorial opening times page for your specific subjects.
- The colour system matters in SOLS: only yellow slots are available to enrol into; pink (full) slots can be waitlisted but green (not yet open) cannot.
- UOW officially calls its terms "sessions" not "semesters" in academic documents, which affects how you interpret dates on the official calendar.
