Timetable tips for USYD students
- USYD uses Allocate+ (branded as Sydney Timetable) for class preferences - submit ranked preferences for tutorial and lab times before allocation runs, rather than self-selecting on a first-come basis.
- Timetable adjustments close at the end of Week 2 each semester - any swap requests after that must go through the faculty.
- Some units are read-only in Allocate+ (lectures with a single stream or school-managed allocation) - these will not appear in the preference tool.
