Scheduling tips for QUT students

• QUT uses a preferencing model - you cannot grab a class immediately; submit preferences during the window and wait for the batch allocation, then adjust via the swap function.
• QUT has two distinct campuses (Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove) approximately 4 km apart - check the campus for every class; a morning lecture at one and afternoon tutorial at the other is achievable but tight.
• The personal timetable adjustment window runs for several weeks after release - use this window to swap classes that do not suit your schedule.
